This notice sets out how the club looks after your personal data. The club and committee are committed to protecting your personal data
What personal data we collect about you and where we collect it from
The club collects information about you on its membership application and parental consent forms
To operate the club efficiently we require to record Member’s name, address, home and mobile phone numbers, email addresses. Any such detail that we retain is for the express purpose of running the club and no other detail is retained
Cookies
A software application is used to maintain and update the club website. The club does not utilise cookies itself, but the software or the hosting site may use them
How we use your personal data
Your personal data will only be used when the law allows us to.
Examples of legitimate use of your data are as follows
• To inform you as members of any club notices that we require you to be aware of including agendas and minutes of meetings
• When we are required by legal or regulatory procedures
Data retention
We are required to keep personal data that we obtained to satisfy legal, accounting, insurance or reporting requirements. If this data isn't required it will be removed once it no longer serves the purpose that we obtained it for. If your membership ceases for any reason we will remove your details following a reasonable grace period
Sharing of data
The club will not share any members personal data to any other parties other than under legal requirement as defined by law

This document will be reviewed and/or updated periodically in line with changing circumstances. A notification will be placed on the website with details of the amendment
