Low Moor - T Gauge

This is Grahams first venture into T Gauge, the layout depicts Low Moor, Bradford.

Republic Steel Z Gauge

A multi based layout compromising of a central blast furnace, this layout can be based in the UK or can transport you to the USA. Both having different working practices but similar buildings you will have to see which country the layout will be based when you come to the show.

Z Gauge Bullet Trains

This is our new version of the Z scale layout specialising in Japanese Bullet Trains. All six sets have been converted to DCC as have all the turnouts. Both locos and turnouts are controlled with Digitrax equipment. The DCC protocol comes from a Roco Z21 system. It is an exhibition layout that is 8’2” (250cm) long although from some angles it appears longer. This layout is now all on raised viaduct system by Rokuhan as is the track. I have installed daytime led lights and a simulated night time led lighting system.

Hintertuffing N Gauge

Bear Creek Junction Ho/hon3/hon30

Although a fictitious location, the layout is set in one of the many canyons typical of Colorado where mining and logging proliferated. Here you will be able to see fragile wooden trestle bridges curving round mountains, view soaring steel trestles crossing valleys and hear the sounds of steam engines roaring out of rock faced tunnels. With steam predominant on both the Narrow and Standard gauge tracks, the marvels of late 19th and early 20th Century motive power will parade before your very eyes. Wonder at the intricacy of the dual gauge track where the model point work had to be hand built to suit the location, and look out for the 2ft 6in gauge mine tram. Listen to the working of the lumber camps and mines in the mountains and admire the laser cut wood and scratch built model buildings and structures in their working environment.
The setting is also bounded by the wilderness of the mountain forests where you will be able to see Black Bears in their natural habitat. But a word of caution is required as these animals are wild and unpredictable, so please . . .

DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!

Reevy Road West 4mm OO

Run in corporate blue diesel era but the occasional steam special can be seen.

Newbie Bridge OO Gauge

Set in North West England towards the end the 1960s. It owes its inspiration to Morecambe Promenade – a site frequently visited by members when steam trains were still in operation. A modest size station with four platform roads sees a fair amount of operations with healthy long distance and local traffic whilst the small goods yard is kept busy with parcels and mixed goods workings. The platform canopy is hand built as is the approach viaduct, the viaduct being based on Cornholme Viaduct on the line to Todmorden.

Rock and Rail OO Interactive

Control is by NCE Powercab system and the operators stand at the front to operate from each end of the layout. Trackwork is Peco code 100. Locos and Rolling stock are by Bachmann, Hornby and Heljan."

Little Aire 00 - Mixed DC & DCC

Little Aire represents a small station, loco servicing depot and wagon works set in the West Yorkshire suburbs. The time period is the early 1990s when British Rail was in control (just!). The passenger lines at the rear are to be electrified but a selection of DMUs can currently be seen - 142, 144, 150, 153, 155 and 158's. Once the wires are up there should be the 308's and 321's in service. These are in a mixture of Regional Railways and WYPTE red/cream liveries. The passenger lines are totally independent to the yards and these are run through regular DC controls. The Depot and Wagon Works see a number of Class 37s, 47s, 56s and sees visits from the odd class 58 and 60. These are controlled by DCC and allows for sound locos to be used. This is the clubs first venture into DCC and we are all still learning.

Mers Les Bains 1/32 Scale 32mm Gauge

A French metre gauge station in 1/32nd scale, representing a small port and holiday resort on the Picardy coast in the early 1950's.
Mers-les-Bains is a real place, a resort in the south of Picardy adjacent to Le Treport, and it is still served by a standard gauge line
but we have imagined a metre gauge system terminating in the town on the quayside, the Picardy Coast Railway or Chemin
de Fer de Cote de Picardie.
