Sunday 8 October 2017

KMRC presents its 9th celebration of the best in O gauge! We have a great line-up of layouts including some new guests and a fantastic range of traders selling everything from complete locos - both new and used - to the smallest nuts and bolts. Even if you're not buying, the layouts are never less than inspiring, the catering is always wonderful and the atmosphere laid back and friendly

The ever popular crowd pleaser! Watch pre-group long freights and full-length passenger trains run through a full scenic landscape, and even photograph your own loco at the head of one of our trains

Runswick Bay - Last chance to see this iconic layout!
Scenic magnificence on this circular per-group North Eastern layout, set on the East coast of North Yorkshire. Watch ironstone hoppers loading and coal wagons dispensing into the drops as they day fades slowly into night. The layout has just been sold to a private owner and will be removed from the clubrooms immediately following this event

Boiler Road Shed (David Gliddon)
We're pleased to welcome this new guest layout representing a northern England sub-shed dealing mainly with freight locos and shunters, but with the odd visit from a passenger loco too. No pics available, so come and see it in the flesh!

O Gauge Diorama (Preston O Gauge Group)
A display constructed ny Preston Club members showing the use of various materials for modelling buildings and other structures. The diorama shows the constructional processes from left to right and is essential viewing for anyone new to the scale. Preston O Gauge Group members will be on hand to explain the techniques in use

The grit and glory years personified in this 1950's -1960's portrayal of Hellifield Shed on the Settle-Carlisle main line

Suppose the Midland Railway had extended its Grassington branch up Wharfedale to link with the NER at Bishop Auckland.  There was such a proposal - and this is what the result might have looked like!  Coverdale is a work in progress and new team members are always welcome

Amalgamated Wagon Works (Ben Lord)
The clue's in the name! A compact guest layout oozing atmosphere and charm
